We have developed specific programs to introduce young students to the world of dance…
Our Young Children’s classes are an exciting overview of the programs that are offered at our studio Here, students begin to learn, through TAP, how sounds fit into music and to immediately tap into their musicality; through BALLET, the grace of movement; through JAZZ basics how to isolate the different parts of their bodies. The program is quite varied, making it an exciting beginning of our young students’ dance education.
Our INTRO TO DANCE program - Ages 3 to 4 - is a fun first forray into dance class through TAP and pre-BALLET. These are 45 minute, independent classes.
Our TAP/JAZZ COMBO Program is for ages 5 and 6 year olds and combines theatre dance elements – TAP & JAZZ training – to create our future Broadway dancers!

Our classical ballet program contains the fundamental building blocks for all of our dancers. This elegant art form is designed to strengthen each dancer's body and mind. Ballet classes stress body placement, flexibility and fluidity, which allows your dancer to reach a level of artistry unmatched by other styles of dance. Using every count to fill the music, ballet students show an outstanding control and carriage of their bodies. This style is recommended for dancers who are seriously motivated to train. Pointe classes are available for more advanced students ages 11 and up upon faculty recommendation.

With a solid warm up at the beginning of each class, our jazz program strives to improve not only the dancers’ skills, but the strength and flexibility behind the movements. Endless combinations and across the floor building blocks will keep the dancers on their toes. Ready… A-five-six-seven-eight!

Rhythm and Broadway tap – We’ve got it all!!! For anyone who has been excited by the syncopated rhythms of a tap dancer’s feet, we have a class for you. From the earliest part of the century when tap stars topped vaudeville marquees and flappers filled the Broadway stage, to the MGM movie classics with Fred Astaire and Ginger Rodgers gliding across the screen, to Brenda Bufalino, Savion Glover and Jason Samuels Smith filling a stage today with their marvelous sounds. Tap dance is part of the American culture. We help keep this American art form ‘alive and well’ with classes for Beginners to Advanced levels for children and adults. Our tap choreography has won countless national awards as well as Paula Abdul’s “Company Dance” finals broadcast on national television.
